Every year we organise social events, mostly in and around Abbey Fields, led by experts on the subject, to enhance everyone’s enjoyment of the Fields. Everyone is welcome to join in these activities. We list below our 2012 events:
Talk entitled ‘Creating a Wildflower Meadow‘ by Ron Hill and Jon Holmes on Wednesday, 25th January 2012. This will be held on the ground floor of Jubilee House, Smalley Place (the old Police Station) at 7.30pm. ALL WELCOME. Refreshments will be available. This will be a good opportunity to express any concerns you may have and get your questions answered.
Wednesday, 25th April 2012 – Bat Walk led by Jon Russ, Warwickshire Bat Group. Everyone welcome – meet in St Nicholas Car Park, Abbey Fields, Kenilworth at 8.30pm.
Sunday, 6th May 2012 – Bird Walk led by Colin Potter, Ornithologist. Everyone welcome – meet in St Nicholas car park, Abbey Fields, Kenilworth at 8.00am.
Friday, 10th August 2012 – Moth Evening led by David Brown, County Moth Recorder. Everyone welcome – meet in St Nicholas car park, Abbey Fields, Kenilworth at 9.00pm.
